寻找并确立体育教育体系与体育竞技体系的结合部，加速我院的体制改革，加速实现体育教育体系与体育竞技体系的结合，不仅是超前发展的奥运战略的要求，也是拓宽我院培养人才渠道，进而创办北京体育大学的需要。

To identify the combining area of the system of physical education with the system of competi-tive sport, speed up the structural reform of the Institute, and promote the combination of physical educa-tion with competitive sport are the needs of developing the Olympic strategy and broadening the way oftraining talents of the Institute as well as building the Institute into a university of physical culture.
