高阻尼合金是一种新型合金材料。它用于结构件时具有明显的降噪减震效果。文中简述了该种合金的发展过程，分类和工作原理，并对其在兵器工业上的潜在应用进行了探讨。
High Damping Motals(HDM)is a newly dovelopod material family which are characterized outstandingly by the effective decrease in operation noise and vibration when they are used to construct the mehanical components. The development history,classification and working principles of HDM are presonted, and its potential applications in the ordnance industry are discussed.
