In this paper,three methods were used for the study on effects of heat treatment on the darkening and half fading time of glass using TEM, SEM,EDS and COL etc,The Principles of choosing proper heat treatment methods were proposed according to the different glass composition,phase separation characteristics as well as secondary diffusion of Ag￣+ and it’s concentration.
