The low-temperature fractrure behavior of 16Mn steel suffered from the hot-strainingembrittlement (HSE) with a strain of about 8%. has been investigated, It is indicated that the by is increasedand the cleavage characteristic stress Sco is hardly affected by HSE. Then it is conduded that thebrittle / ductile transtion temperature Tco is increased obviously after hot strain aging.
