Differential GPS Applied to Ship Identification in Harbor

在分析了ＶＨＦＤＦ造价高、精度受距离的限制和差转ＧＰＳ的原理的基础上，提出了用差转ＧＰＳ进行港口船舶识别的设想，并且论述了实现这种设想的系统方案，指出了这种船舶识别方法具有造价低、精度高、易实现的优点，如果以此替代ＶＨＦＤＦ，无疑会给我国的交管系统的建立节省大量的外汇。

In this paper we put forward a new system of ship identification with differentia,GPS inharbor after pointing out the cost of VHF DF is higher and its precision limited by the distancebetween ship and coast station,and the principle of differential GPS is analysed. Then we con- trive a scheme of the system. It should be seen that the system of ship ideiitification cost less,higher precision and easier practice. If it takes the place of VHF DF,the system will economizein expenditure of VTS construction.
