Intravesical instiliations of large doses of BCG in the treatment of superficial bladder carcinoma(report of 14 cases)

本文报告大剂量卡介苗（６００ｍｇ）膀胱灌注治疗表浅膀胱癌１４例的疗效观察，大剂量卡介苗能更有效地刺激机体免疫力，适用于初发、复发和残余膀胱癌。灌注前后测定细胞免疫功能，了解治疗反应和预后，治疗时要严格掌握适应症，减少并发症，才能提高疗效。本方法操作简便、疗效显著、宜于临床应用。

Intravesical instillations of large doses of Bacillus Calimette Guerin(BCG) (600mg) for the treatment of superficial bladder cancer have been carried out in 14 patients, Large doses of BCG may stimulate active cell-mediated immunocompetance of the host. It was found to be an effective treatment for carcinoma in situ, recurrent and tesidual tumors. Assessement of the function of cell-mediated immunity of the patients would provide information concerning treatment, reaction, and reognosis. Indications should be strictly adhered to in order to enhance its efficacy and lessen the complications. BCG instillation is recommended for clinical use as it is simple, convenient and efficient.
