再论隋代前后的太阳视运动理论

THE SOLAR MOTION THEORY AROUND SUI DYNASTY

张子信的太阳视运动理论（约５６０年）至迟在５７６年已被刘孝孙的武平历用于日食推算。但因北齐灭亡（５７７年），这个学说的进一步发展受到挫折．此后刘焯与张胄玄分别继承了刘孝孙的未竟之业．通过对张胄玄大业历（６０８年）、刘焯皇极历（６００年）与一行太衍历（７２７年）日躔表的分析，可以清楚地看出隋代前后太阳视运动理论逐步完善的发展脉络．刘焯创立的二次内插算法是建立在太阳视行速对称且分段成等差数列变化这两个前提之下，它的出现应属自然。本文认为，张子信之后的太阳视运动理论，是申国古代天文学家独立创建并发展起来的。

hang Zixin founded his solar motion theory about 560 A. D. His discovery led seversal astronomers in North Qi Dynasty to go in for a further researches and investigations on the field.In 576 A. D.,Liu Xisosun used it in Wu Ping Calendar to calculate a solar eclipse. Because North Qi Dynasty was soon seized by North Zhou Dynasty in the next year,the studies couldn't be continued smoothly.Liu Zhuo and Zhang Zhouxuan succeeded Liu Xinosun respectively. They each made two calendars after Liu galal sun lied(about 594 A.D.).The author analyses the similarities and dirferences between the solar motion tables of Zhang Zhouxuan's Da Ye Calendar (608 A.D.)and Liu Zhuo 's Huang Ji Calendar (600 A.D.)in details,and nnds the structures of the solar motion velocity in the two calendars are very similar. It isnoticeable that they are far different from a retional pattern,such as the solar motion theory in Da Yan Calendar (727 A.D.).A clear picture of the evolution of r'7lar motion theory around Sui Dynasty is drawn from fiq2 to 4.According to the analysis of solar motion table of Hunag Ji Calendar,the construction of Liu Zhuo's quadratiC interpolation was based on the followins principles:(l)The yarintions of solar motion arc spmmetry, (2)The solar motion velocities form a piecewise arithmetiC progression. It is considered that the solar motion theory after Zhang Zi--xin was made,nd developed by ancient chinese astronomers independently.
