his paper mainly tries to analysis and research on the diatom flora from Yingzi town in Linqu county of Shandong province. It can be concluded that the diatom flora from Yingzi town is similar to the diatom flora from the famed Shanwang basin, and its sedimentary environment of diatomaceous earth is alse a shallow freshwater which has the resources of soluble SiO2. The sedimentary time of diatomaceous earth from Yingzi is put to Miocene.
