In this article the standards of ultrasounic inspection of steel weld used in China and Japan are compared. The defects of JB 1152-81 standards and the advantages of JIS Z 3060 standard are pointed out, including: Applying scope, standard contents, operational uses, inspoction apparatus and heads, the theory and operation bases of the standards.
