摘要
将Navier-Stokes方程和Maxwell方程相结合,解析了工业应用的具有不同炉底电极形式的直流电弧炉炉内熔体的搅拌特性.结果表明,直流电弧炉炉内熔体的搅拌强烈地依赖于炉底导电电极直径的大小,采用小直径导电炉底电极时.存在两个循环流,采用大直径炉底电极时.存在一个大循环流.大直径导电炉底电极下的熔体搅拌效果优于小直径炉底电极下的搅拌效果.
Melt stirring behavior in DC arc furnace with different bottom electrode type was studied bycombining Navier-Stokes equations with Maxwell's equations. The results showed that the stirring behaviordepends greatly upon conductive diameter of the bottom electrode used. It was proved that there are two recirculating flows for small diameter bottom electrode,but only one for large diameter bottom electrode and,with regard to stirring effect, the latter is better than the former.
