摘要
对松十二齿小蠹（ＩｐｓｓｅｘｄｅｎｔａｔｕｓＢｏｅｒｎ）雌雄成虫的个体大小；鞘翅缝末端的形状和宽度；额瘤大小，以及台形特征等四方面进行了比较研究。结果表明：利用鞘翅斜面上第３、４齿的形态特征，可准确分辩活咸虫的性别，其判断准确率分别９９％（♂）和９８％（♀）。同时，还对两性鞘翅斜面各齿的高度、基宽及间距等指标进行了定量分析。
The morpholgical characters of male and female adults of Ips sexdentatus,with special reference to the body size,shape and width of the end elytral secure,size of floutal tubercle;and shape of elytral spines,were compared in details.A combination of 3rd and 4th elytral spine characteristics has been proved to allow separating both sexes of living beetles with acuracies of 99%(for males)and 98%(for females),respectively.Measurements of some spine size parameters such as height,width of spines and the distance between each two neighbouring spines have been also presented.
