毛的鳞片类型及其排列在人和动物中是各有特点的。人发的鳞片类型单一，排列均衡；一些动物被毛的鳞片类型多，排列复杂。观察这些动物被毛的鳞片时，采样要完整，观察要全面，不能把对人发的以部分代整体式的常规做法照搬到对动物毛的观察上。把毛的鳞片类型作为动物识别的佐证需要占有所有动物的各种类型的毛并建立毛的鳞片类型档案，找出识别点，应用计算机自动识别检验。

Scale pattern of Human hair is unitary and evenly arranged while that of mainals is varied and complicatedly arranged.In the observation of mamal hairs,sample completement and observation comprehension must be emphasized instead of the methods copied from the common detection on a part instead of on the whole in human hair.In order to make the hair scale pattern an evidence of mamal classification, we must definitely know all hair scale patterns of all specieses and establish the record of hair scale pattern. Based on the definitive features, computer could be employed in the distinguishment.
