摘要
李四光的山字型构造在单面断陷盆地（单断盆地）中就是Ｋ型构造。Ｋ型构造是普遍发育于单断盆地中的一套同沉积构造。盆地一侧为一控盆断层，盆内都有两条同沉积向斜轴相交于断层中段，呈Ｋ形，称其为Ｋ型构造。Ｋ型构造控制着盆内的矿产和构造，形成一套完整的构造体系。用Ｋ型构造的对称性、完整性可作矿区的预测，甚至可预测矿产质量。Ｋ型构造的各组分，可与山字型构造组分──对比，所以说它是山字型构造的深入发展。
K-shpae structure is a set of synsedimentary structures which grow in uni-lateral fault basin. All elements of K-shape structure could be contrasted with those of ε-shape structure. The symmetry and integration properties of K-shpae structure could be usedfor predicting coal-field and mineral product quality.
