AbstractIn this letter, C60 microcrystal in quantum size has been synthesized in spatial restricted porous silicon. A heterogeneous blueshift of photoluminescence of C60 molecules embedded in porous silicon has been found from 13650cm-1 to 15840cm-1 relative to that of intrinsic C60 molecules, which may be due to the quantum size effect of C60 molecules,and the heterogeneous blueshift may originate from the dispersion of the porosity in porous silicon.
