Abstract This paper focuses on the discussion of some characteristics of Xipan metagranite in Taiwan Province, and the eastern boundary of South China granite terrain. Based on the geological, lithological the lithological characteristics of the Xipen biotite granite, and the crustal thickness and features in the western pet of eastern Taiwan, it is inferred that the eastern boundary of the South China granite terrain extendS through to Taiwan Province.
