The Origin of the Organizer and Its Inductive Potential in the Early Chick Blastoderm

本研究利用活性荧光染料ＤｉＩ，对鸡胚的期和期胚盘进行标记，以确定组织者的部位。并将组织者区域的细胞移植到宿主胚胎中，验证其诱导次级胚胎的能力。结果表明，期、期胚盘的组织者细胞位于胚盘中轴的后端，其细胞的性质已被决定，能够诱导次级胚胎的发育，本研究结果支持原条的发育与组织者细胞性质不是受下胚层诱导的观点。

A vital flourescent dye,DiI,was used to label cells at the stage and stage of the chick embryo in order to ascertain the location of the organizer in the blastoderms of these stages.Four types of the of grafts from the organizer area were transplanted into host embryos to see if the epiblast or hypoblast of the organizer area had an ability to induce a secondary embryo.The results showed that the organizer was located in the posterior part of the axis and the secondary embryo was induced only by the epiblast of organizer area.The results do not support the idea that the formation of the primitive streak and the organizer is induced by the hypoblast.
