骆驼刺群落在吐鲁番地区分布广，集中分布在吐鲁番盆地中心一带．生长环境严酷，群落植物组成少，由于生境的水盐变化这里发育８个骆驼刺群落类型。可利用总面积７６×１０３ｈａ，产草量１１８５ｋｇ（ｈａ·年）。载畜能力９万只羊单位。群落盖度小，物质生产．太阳能转化率都较低。但是骆驼刺群落还是有利用价值的牧草，草药和防风固沙的经济植物。合理利用和保护生态环境，提高利用效率．人工种植扩大资源，是吐鲁番地区骆驼刺群落开发利用的途径。

Alhagi community distributes widely and concentrated distributes in the centre area of the Turpan Basin.Growth environment is severe and consitution of community plants is low.There are eight types of Alhagi community because the water-salt change of the habitat.The total useful area is 7.6×104hm2,grass yield is 1.185×103kg/km2.year,carrying livestock capacity is 9×104 sheep units.Community cover-degree is smaller,matter production and the inversion rate of sun engery are lower,but Alhagi community is still the used value forage grass,medical grass and economic plants for wind break and sand stablization,The chanels for developing and using Alhagi community in the Turpan Area are utilizing reasonably and preteeting eco-environment,improving used efficiency and artificial planting for enlarging resources.
