本文讨论了狮泉河谷地的植被现状及其建群作用，分析了这里风沙危害的成因，并指出了治理的可能途径。

n this paper,it was stated that the dominant plant species in the Shiquanhe Valley include Ajania fruticulosa, Ceratoides latens, Caragana veraicolor, Myricaria elegans,Artemisia wellbyi, Christolea crassifolia, Stipa glareosa, Orinus thoroldii, Kobresia sp. and Carex sp. The reason for desertification here was that the primary shrubbery of Myricaria elegans in the valley had been cut down since 60' s. And the desertification controlling measures taken should contain the protection of current vegetation as well as the establishment of artificial vegetation in the valley.
