“七五”科技攻关以来我国甘蔗新品种选育推广情况综述

Summary on the Breeding and Promoting of New Sugarcane Varieties Since The Seventh Five-Year National Sicntific and Technological Project

本文综合阐述了“七五”科技攻关以来，我国甘蔗新品种选育，推广工作所取得的成就：1、鉴定了29个甘蔗新品种，在有种速率，早中晚熟品种结构、品种质量、有种年限等均比“七五”攻关前有较大的提高和改进；2、这批新品种已推广69．4万亩，产生总经济效益达1．31亿元；3、联合攻关有明确的目标和先进的指标以及严密的管理组织；4、开始突破甘蔗重要难花亲本的开花和花期不遇的难关，为创新杂交亲本提供条件。

Achivements, experience and suggestions are reported synthtically for breeding and promoting new sugarcane varieties since the 7th Five-Year National Scintific and Technological Project in the following ways. First, a total of 29 new sugarcane varieties was approved, and the dreeding efficiency,the structure and the quality of the early, medium,and late maturing varieties were also improved greatly, comparing with the before. Second, a total of 46, 276 hectares of the 29 varieties was protnoted, which produced 131 million RMB new output. Third, there were clear aims and wellorganized administritive institution in the project. Fourth, the technical barriers of the important shy-flowering parents and the synchronous flowering in sugarcane were broken down, which provided new conditions for producing new parents.
