The absorption spectrum of DCADMA showed intramolecular charge transfer(CT)interaction between two moieties,DCA and DMA,in the ground state.The triad fluores-cence of DCADMA emits from locally excited(LE)state, intramolecular charge transfer(ICT)state,and twisted intramolecular charge transfer(TICT)state was observed.TheCT emission showed large stokes shift in polar solvent and the dipole moment differenceof excited state and ground state(△μ)for DCADMA is 23.9 Debye.
