Resently, high efficiency internal Combustion engine and exhaust heat recovery technology have been developed.In combination with maritime case in China, A new adiathermal combined internal combustion cycle was proposed by authors. It was point out that the adoption of by-pass secondary combustion, adiathermal technology, exhaust power turbine and exhaust heat recover apparatus…etc…was used in new combined cycle.By ideal combustion air analysis, compound cycle was analysed with the help of thermodynamical second law. Many irreversible lose on overall cycle was calculated. In this paper, availability efficiency performance and improvable methods of the compound cycle was presented.
