A NEW WAY TO EXPLOIT THE FRESH WATER RESOURCES IN ESTUARIAL AREA——ON PRACTICE OF YANGTZE RIVER WATER DIVERTING ENGINEERING FOR BAOSHAN STEEL WORKS

宝钢长江引水工程从1981年提出设想,经过论证、实施、验证、探索、总结,形成了成套新技术:围堤筑库、避咸蓄淡、朔望规律、自动遥测、去污澄清.为沿海地区开发淡水资源开辟了一条新途径.

In the light of the full course to develop the Yangtze River Water Diverting Engineering for Baoshan Steel Works from conceiving since 1981 through investigating , deliberating, implementing, confirming and summarizing, a series of new technics including water reservoiring by embankment, fresh water storing avoid the saline, syzy-gy law utilizing, automatic monitoring of hydrographic and water quality parameters and pollution abatement by clarification have been created. This may be a new way for fresh water resources exploitation in estuarial area.
