摘要
本文简要分析了现行的几种浓缩池面积计算方法的特点,尤其是对其中较为简便的Talmadge-Fitch法在确定设计参数t_u时的有关概念和方法中的存在的问题进行了剖析和矫正,并提出了改进的方法.本文提出的方法有充分的理论依据,不仅计算结果更为合理、可靠,而且大大地简化了浓缩面积的计算过程.
In this paper the existing design methods for the surface area of sludge thickener are briefly compared. The major discussion is focused on Talmadge-Fitch method which is considered as a relatively easily-applied method. It is pointed out that the compress point concept and the internal bisector approach for determination of key parameter tu are questionable. An improved approach is proposed, which is derived on theoretical basis. Therefore the results obtained by proposed approach will be more reasonable and reliable. In addition the calculation procedure can be greatly simplified.
