Based on the analysis of the stream functions and their principal equations[1], this paper presents the methed to solve transonic flow. The momentum equation which has not been used as principal equations of stream functions is employed to calculate the density to make the density determined uniquely. The numerical example show that the method is simple and effective to solve subsonic and transonic flow.
