An exergetic analysis is made in this paper with regard to steam injected gas turbine (STIG) systems based on the second law of thermodynamics. The effect of pressure ratio,turbine rotor inlet temperature, steam-to-air ratio, and quality of steam in regard to power output and cycle efficiency is discussed. Some conclusions have been obtained.
