This article presents a method used to design a wire thread ring gauge. The author also provides same formulae for calculating various parameters such as outside diameter,pitch diameter and inside diameter,of each 'go' and 'no-go' thread ring gauge,and thread plug checking gauge. At last,an example is practised.
