记述新疆准噶尔志留系Rhizophyllum一新种

NOTE ON A NEW SPECIES OF RHIZOPHYLLUM FROM JUNGGAR

描述了产自新疆北部准噶尔盆地西北缘志留系（Ｗｅｎｌｏｃｋ）中根珊瑚的一新种Ｒｈｉｚｏｐｈｙｌｌｕｍｊｕｎｇｇａｒｅｎｓｅｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。共生的还有四射珊瑚、床板珊瑚和腕足类化石，它们保存在沙尔布尔组的褐红色钙铁质砂岩夹灰色灰岩中。

The new species Rhizophyllum junggarense described here was collected from the Sarbur Formation (Wenlock) in NW Junggar, northern Xinjiang by the Department of Geology, Polytechnic College of Xinjiang.These Rhizophyllum elements occurred in'association with the Silurian corals Holmophyllum, Calostylis, alysites, Palaeofavosites and the brachiopods Lissatrypa, Atrypa, Atrypella. Levenea, Nalivkina and Isothis. Since the Silurian (Wenlock) Rhizophyllum has rarely been reported from Xinjiang, it seems desirable to give a brief description for this new form.Rhizophyllum junggarense sp. nov.
