摘要
描述贵州西部晚石炭世威宁组的腹足类7属9种(其中2新种),早石炭世草海组鸭子塘段的腹足类6属6种(其中1新种)。参照黄渤海海域内现生腹足类的生态习性,初步推断鸭子塘段为早石炭世浅海陆棚沉积。
In 1963,while carrying out their geological investigations into the Carboniferous ofWeining, Shuicheng and Pan-clan Counties, Guizhou Province, the stratigraphy Team ofWestern Guizhou composed of Zhang Lin-xin and Jin Yu--gan, collected from the LaterCarboniferous Weining Formation some relatively well--preserved fossil gastropods, whichhave been studied and identified by the writer, including 4 genera and 4 species from Zhaojiashan, Weining County, namely: Euphemites sp. I Cymatospira montfortianus (Norwoodet Pratten), Euomphalus sp., Euconospira turbiniformis (Meek et Worthen ) 1 and 6species from the Weining Formation at Huashiban I Panxiati County, namely: Bellerophonhuashibanensis sp. nov., B. menardensis Them et Nitecki, B. tenureticulatum sp. nov.,MOurolonia placida deKoninck, M. tingi (Grabau), Naticopsis of. genevievensis Meek etWorthen. Because of the fragmentary materials, this paper only makes a general description of them. But the Lower part of Yazitang Member, Caohai Formation of Lower Carboniferous contains abundant gastropods,which have a higher diversity, totally with 9species (AAC 35-371 AAC 448-450),namely,Bellerophon munsteri A. d' Orbigny,Euomphalus catillus Sowerby (this species was reported from the Early Carboniferous deposits of England),Baylea weiningensis sp. nov. I Umbotropis albicans Knight, Gosseletinacallosa (Koninck)(this species has previously been found from the Visean of Early Carboniferous deposits of Belgium),Pseudozygopleura magna Wang, Meekospiracarnimaxima Wang(these 2 species have previously been found from the Lower part of theBojiwan Formation),Bulimorpha minor Them et Nitecki lanthinopsis of. paludinaeformis(Hall)(these 2 species have previously been found from the Upper part of Mississippian ofIllinois, America).In association ti.ith these fossils are the rugose corals and brachiopodswhich represent the important fossils of the Lower Carboniferous of Yazitang Member,Caohai Formation I they are of the same geological age as gastropods.
