摘要
本文是国家地震局地震专家代表团于北岭地震后赴美进行实地考察的简要工作报告。内容包括地震序列特征、地震地质背景、震害和预防以及应急等情况。
This paper is the brief work report of on-the-spot investigations made by the Seismological ExpertDelegation of SSB to USA after the Northridge earthquake ,including characteristics of the earthquake se-quence ,seismological background,earthquake disaster and preparedness ,emergency measures and so on.
