Scientific Determination of Air Transport Growth Speed

进入90年代以来,中国民航一直保持着高速增长。1992年航空运输总周转量为42.8亿吨公里,比1991年增长33.6％。1993年完成52亿吨公里,增长率仍在30％以上。新机购买数量也以每年70架左右的速度增加。过快的增长也暴露出一些问题,如基础设施落后,专业技术人才缺乏,民航安全保障欠佳等。联系民航实际,当前应抓紧有利时机。

There are three periods in air transport development in general, they are nursery, growth and mature. During the growth period, the growth speed of air transport is higher which is more than two times as national economy growth . Air transport of China entered into growth period in early 1980s . To ensure its higher growth speed stably and coordinatly, it is important to resolve several problems exsisting in the industry:first, the balance of the total supply and demand ;second, the balance of the industry structure; third, growth speed in different regions; fourth , the cooperated development of international and domestic market with freight and mail flight markets; fifth , ensureing safe flights and increaing service quality and economic effectiveness .
