Monoclonal antibodies were used to identify a positive staining clone from a λZAP Ⅱ expression library,which was derived from a highly metastatic human lung adenocarcinoma cell line。The cDNA was isolated and its nucleotide sequence was determined,DNA and RNA dot blot hybridization showed that the level of mRNA expression was higher in the highly metastatic cell line than that in the poorly metastatic cell line.The cDNA contained an open reading frame of 106 amino acids and revealed 85% homology with a human propionylCoA carboxylase α-chain
