本文将自然指数函数展开式施行ｍ重分割法，当ｍ＝２时就是熟知的双曲函数，ｍ≥３时命名为广义双曲函数．本文给出广义双曲函数的等价定义、初等函数表示法以及应用上的新结果．

In this paper,the author applies the method of many seperable expansions to the ex-pansion of exponential function. When m=2,it is well known to be the hyperbolic ftinction andwhen m≥3, it is named the extended hyperbolic function. We also show the equivalent .defini-tion of the extended hyperbolic function,its expressions by elementary functions and some newresults on applications.
