Effect of Rubber Seed Oil on the Composition of Fatty Acid on Rhesus Monkeys

本文报告用橡胶种子油喂养的猕猴，其腹膜后和肠系膜上的脂肪所炼取的油脂，进行脂肪酸组成分析中发现，含饱和脂肪酸明显减少，而含不饱和脂肪酸明显增多，为畜牧饲养业提供了一种新的改善动物油脂组成的饲养方法．

The study reports the effect of the oil from rubber tree seeds on the composition offatty acid in rhesus monkeys. The monkeys are fed with fodder mixed with rubber seed oil.Thelipid is extracted from beth the retroperitoneal and mesenteric fat tissue of the monkey. Analysisof the composition of the fatty acid has showed a sharp decrease of saturated fatty acid while theunsaturated fatty acid increased remarkably.The result may serve to improve the composition ofanimal fat,thus providing a new feeding approach for livestock husbandry.
