Based on the hairtail caught on Zhoushan fishing ground and ice stored in boxes for 3 days, 7 days and 10 days, the catches put in the cold plate refrigerated vans were then transported from Shanghai to Beijing. It took 5 days and the whole journey was about 2000 km. The changes of values of volatile basic nitrogen were examined by using variance analyses and Duncan method.
