陶瓷复合材料在航天领域的应用日益广泛。这些材料比目前使用的最好的金属合金强度更高,重量更轻。本文介绍了国外在复合材料领域取得的一些新进展。
Metals and ceramics reinforced with tough ceramic fibres are stronger and lighter than the best of today's metal alloys. This new breed of composite materials is being hailed as the single most important technology in the field of engineering materials and will bring a great change to the parts of engine and airframe. The recent development of this material technology and the problems existing in it are described in this article.
