介绍了碳酸二甲酯的特性、生产方法，对其开发、应用及市场进行了探讨。指出碳酸二甲酯是替代光气和硫酸二甲酯的新型无毒的化工产品。
Properties and process of dimethyl carbonate is described,andits development, application and market is discussed. It is pointed out thatdimethyl carbonate is a new and non-toxic chemicals which will substitute forphosgene and dimethyl sulfate.
