Study on Synthesis of Dimethyl Fumarate from Maleic Anhydride

本文报道了利用ＦｅＣｌ３·６Ｈ２Ｏ催化使马来酸酐与甲醇酯化，并在溴存在下光照发生异构化成富马酸二甲酯的反应条件，本法具有方法简便，条件温和，无腐蚀性和无废酸排放等优点。

This paper reports the study on the reaction conditions of esterification of maleic anhydride with methanol by usuig FeCl_3·6H_2O as catalyst and of isomerization of maleate into fumarate catalyzed by bromine with light. This method owns many advantages such as simple procedure. mild reaction condition, non-corrosion behavior and non-drainage of waste acid.
