关于湖南开发非金属矿产的若干意见

Some Suggestions about the Development and Exploration of Nonmetallic Mineral Resources in Hunan

根据国家“八五”发展非金属矿的要求，结合湖南境内非金属矿产资源状况，在近期内，应重点开发高硅耐火泥、红柱五、莫来石、萤石、高岭土、膨润土等系列产品，发展五膏精加工产品、白云岩系列产品、超微细碳酸钙粉以及开发含钾岩石等资源，把非金属矿潜在的资源优势变成经济优势。

Based on the state’s demand of'8th 5─year plan'to explorate the nonmetallic mineral resources and according to the actual sltuatiOn in Hunan,our main work should be put,in the near future,to develop some series products of,such as,Si─rich refractory clys,andalusite ,mullite,fluorite,kaolin,bentonite,ultramicron cal-cium carbonate powder and fine processed gypsum,and to prospect the potassium rock resources etc.so as to con-vert the potential superiority of nonmetallic mineral resources into the economic values.
