本文记述棉小造桥虫绒茧蜂形态、生物学特性，并提出保护利用措施．
Apanteles anomids Watanabe is an important natural enemy of the small cottonmeasuring worm. It has a generations in Yuanjing county in Hunan each year. At about 20±0.5℃, 25±0.5℃,28±0.5℃ and 30±0. 5℃,the average developing periods of the egg-larvae,are 15.26 ±0. 906,11.11±0.545,8.03±0.908,7.93±0.155 days,respectively,and that of the pupae are 6. 99±0.954,4.46±0.614,4.34±0.405,3.78 ±0.369 days,re-spectively, and the average duration of adult stages at above temperatures are 3.03±0.381,2.21±0.838,1.50±0.337,0.98±0.261 days ,respectively.The mean longerrity of theadults that fed on 10%sugar water, 10%honey water,water and untreatment are about 1.5,1.2,1 and 0.5 days at about 29. 3℃,respectively.Most of the emergences occurred at 6 to 10a.m. . Amated female lays 109. 2 eggs in 9.2 second instar larvae and prefer to oriposit inone to third instar larvae of the host.Protective utilization methods of Apanteles anomidisWatanbe are presented.
