摘要
合理使用历史地震资料是科学地评价工程场地地震安全性的关键问题之一。以１６０４年发生在泉州海外的大地震为例，阐述了如何分析与使用历史地震资料，以便为工程建设提供可靠的抗震设防依据。
Reasonably using instorical seismic data is one of the key questions to assess seismic safety of engineering sites scientifically. In this paper, in order to supply reliable basis of earthquake resistant design,taking the earthquake occurred out of the seacoast of Quanzhou in 1604.As an example it has been expounded how to analyse and use the instorical seismic data.
