摘要
研究了Phong模型的快速明暗处理问题,并在前人研究的基础上提出一种近似最佳一致逼近的明暗处理算法。与已有的各种算法相比,该算法具有在不影响图形显示速度的前提下,既能提高又能控制图形显示精度的优点。
The most important thing to plotting a picture with a sense of reality is to develop a dis-play model that is consistent with natural illumination,that is,the picture generated shouldbe really true to life. For a user of the CAD/CAM system,a shaded picture is required to benot only highly lifelike,but also it should be capable of being displayed rapidly in order tomeet the requirements of man-machine interaction. A compromise is what is needed betweenquality and accuracy. Algorithms for fast shaded rendering based on phony illumination arestudied and a method based on the work by Duff and others using optimal uniform approxi-mation is presented.It is shown that,compared with other algorithms,this one is better andeasier to control in terms of display accuracy without any effect on the display speed.
