摘要
讨论了实时数据库系统（ＲＴＤＢＳ）的概念及特征，并与传统数据库系统（ＴＤＢＳ）进行比较，提出了实时数据库系统的事务模型及应该具有的各种特征，为深入开展这方面的研究提供参考．
hat is an RTDB,why is an RTDB needed,what is the relation and difference betweena conventional database and a real-time system and what are its basic features? These ques-tions are discussed at length. An RTDBS is a database system with time limiting data andtransactions. Its basic features are that the data are not only with logic consistency, but alsowith external and interactive consistency ,and the transactions are with timing too. And allthese are closely related to transaction models. Various useful complex transaction modelsare described.
