The reaction kinetics of ammoniation of wet phosphoric acid was studied by using a doublemagnetic stirring reactor.Under similar conditions of slurry concentration method of am moniumphosphate production it can be found that the reaction between wet phosphoric acid and gaseousammonia was a rapid reaction controlled by the gas-film mass transfer.The empirical telationbetween the gas-film mass transfer coefficient and other factors was obtained as follow Sh=2.01 x10 ̄(-4)Re ̄(2.49) The above relation provides an experimental basis which can be used for the process scale upand intensification of the ammonium phosphate production by the《slurry method》.
