The Mossbauer spectra of the oxo-centered trinuclear transition metal earbexylate cluster com-plexes(1)[Fe3O(COOCH3)6(H2O)3]· Cl ·5H2O,(2)FeCrO(COOCH3)6(H2O)3]·Cl·5H2Oand(3)[FeCR2O(COOCH3)6(H2O)3]·Cl·5H2O,have been measured. the data have been fittedsuccessfully with a least-squares fitting computer program. The Masbauer data(77K)obtainedby computer fitting,showed:for cluster compound(1).FeⅠ:δ=0.442±0.004mm/s,△E_Q=0.572±0.004mm/s,Γ=0.360±0.004mm/s,A=69.6±5%;FeⅡ:δ=0. 584±0.004mm/s,△E_Q=0. 589±0.004mm/s,Γ=0. 282±0. 004mm/s,A=30.4±5%;for cluster compound(2),FeⅠ:δ=0. 424±0. 004mm/s,△E_Q=0.627±0.004mm/s,Γ=0.326±0.004mm/s,A=45.2±5%;FeⅡ:δ=0.578±0.004mm/s,△E_Q=0.641±0.004mm/s,Γ=0.310±0.004mm/s,A=54. 8±5%; for cluster compound(3),δ=0.493±0.004mm/s,△E_q=0.556±0.004mm/s,Γ=0.371±0.004mm/s, The isomer shift δ are relative to α-Fe, From these parameters it is found that alliron atoms of the cluster complexes(1),(2)and(3)are in+3 high spin state.
