A method based on the Pb-T(DBHP)P complex for the second-derivative spectrophtometric de ermination of trace lead has been developed.The determination range is O-12ug of lead in 25mL of solution and detection limit was found to be 5. 4ng/mL Most the metal ions in rsasonable amoutsns in reasonable amouts do not interfere with the determination.The method has been used to determine lead in human hair without separation.
