In this paper, we report the esterification of fumaranic acid with methyl alcohol under the radi-ation of microwave in a sealed system as well as the effects of various different circumstances on theyields. The results obviously show that the mocrowave radiation can give an accelarating effect tothe esterification. In addition, we also discussed the mocrowave action mechanism.
