介绍了ＺＤ１１１Ｓ脉流牵引电动机的设计原则和难点，同时对主要参数的选择和电机结构特点作了说明，评价了各项设计指标．
Principal and difficulties in designing ZDlllS pulsating current traction motor are described,together with explanation of determination of major parameters as well as construction characteristics.Finally,appraisals are made for each design index.
