The Measurement of Helical Gear Lead Error by Using the Meshing Method

本文介绍了一种测量齿向误差新方法──啮合法，它利用精密圆柱面和渐开螺旋面之间的啮合特性，将齿向误差转化为啮合运动偏差测量。理论分析和测试结果表明：啮合法可利用齿形误差展成系统测量齿向误差。

A new meshing method of measuring gear lead error is introduced in this paper. It uses the meshing characteristic between an accurate roller and belieal involute gear flank to convert the lead error to the meshing movement deviation and then to measure it. The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the lead error measurement may share same generation system with involute profile measurement by this meshing method.
