Research on Characteristics of Object-Oriented Programming and Its Applications

本文以数据类型的抽象与重构为线索，分析与评介了程序设计语言与方法的演化过程及其必然性，探讨面向对象程序设计与实现需解决的若干问题。在此基础上介绍了面向对象程序设计在数据库与人工智能两大分支中的应用途径、现状与前景。

Based on the abstraction and reconstruction of data types, this paper analyzes and evaluates the evolutional process and its necessity of programming languages. It also discusses some fundamental problems to be solved when the object-oriented programming is carried on. The state-of-the-art and the approaches to OOP applications in two major subjects, namely the database system and artificial intelligence, are also introduced.
