The R. C rigid frame structure has been of great rigidity, high bearing capacity and strong fire-resistance. In this article, a detailed description about construction technology of the R. C rigid frame structure of the installation and paint shop building attached to Da. Zhong sedan Co. -an affiliate of the chang-chun No. 1 Automobile Co. Ltd was introduced. It has given fully the following procedures namely:the manufacture and installation techniques of steel columns and beams, the type select and design of formwork system, the adoption of steel pipe scaffolding as well as the construction methods of stiff beams,columns, reinforcements and concrete. All these could be of benefitial and worthy references for the designer and builder of this new type structure in the future.
